Electro-Edging

April 27, 2011

When we speak of edging we generally associate it with a solosexual practice aimed at the utmost generation of sexual bliss on end for and with ourselves. As I have shown there may be a gain possible if a passionate partner knows us so well, that he or she is able to lock us close to the edge while we are left to just relax and cumpletely surrender to those divine sensations. Now could there still be a maximization of this heavenly circumstance? Yes, in theory at least.

That´s with the help of electrical current working inside of us in a way one could not achieve thru touch alone. I am speaking of Erotic Electro Stimulation (EES). Since the neuronal organisation of our bodies is based on (very weak) electricity it is quite obvious to consider EES for edging. Let me quote a short passage about these biological basics out of a larger text on the subject I found years ago:

The body has its own circuitry known as the nervous system, conducting electrical signals from touch receptors to the brain that register on the consciousness as sensations, and from the brain to the muscles stimulating them into movement. Electrical toys intervene in this directly, sending deceptive sensation signals to the brain and prompting involuntary muscular movements which in turn can cause their own peculiar sensations.

Our objective only can be to incorporate external weak current to generate sensations within our genitals and reproductive system unique to EES for keeping us extremely close to PONR while remaining passive/receiving only (let the device do the job with a finger or two steering it). This, in theory, could be the pinnacle of an edging experience (given you are focused at (or imprinted to) the raw edging sensation and nothing but).

However, the whole subject of EES is quite complex and needs to be studied at least in its basics. It can be considered some masturbatory rocket science (pun intended) and foremost I need to address you with this warning now:

ONLY play with low powered battery devices, not with the mains supply, and DO NOT allow even small currents to pass across the chest cavity or brain! Get acquainted with the technical side of EES, you will find further info on the net!

You probably need extended experimentation on yourself until you find out how to ideally electro-edge yourself. Fortunately there is a variety of specially designed devices on the market for the very purpose (like this neat piece of equipment for example).

In my next post I will present a Closer Look at a guy being triggered to cum via EES!

Emission (1)

April 2, 2010

After having taken a close look at the precursor of the ejaculatory reflex, I want to return to the »real deal« with a special focus on the emission (-phase).
I explained the two phases of ejaculation in this very blog here and you can find another cool description here.
For the sake of it, let me briefly recall what we are talking about:

Ejaculation is the release of semen from the penis and is triggered when a man reaches a critical level of sexual excitement. Sexual stimulation causes nerves in the penis to send impulses to the spinal cord and on to the brain. From there, impulses are sent back to the male reproductive system telling it to release semen.

Ejaculation consists of two phases:

  1. the emission phase (internal release of semen) and
  2. the expulsion phase (external spurting/shooting of semen).

See the two anatomical pics to check on where the secretions travel within the system and how it all mixes up before leaving the cock as male milk.

At this point it gets VERY interesting:
The two phases, emission and expulsion, are separate processes controlled by separate nerve centers, and they can also occur independently of each other! It is as if there is a double-PONR when we take a really close look at the process(es): one for the emission proper and one the ejaculation proper (which makes total sense)!

When the expulsion-reflex does not take place due to sexual activity being abruptly stopped and/or due to muscular control (thru serious relaxation as I discussed before), the leaking (external release) of semen can still be achieved! Some call this milking, some speak of edging with emission-climaxes (both are highly related to this anatomical process). I talk of emission. For me emission describes for one the phase within the ejaculatory process (internal), but even more so the performance of releasing semen in a steady stream of milk out of the penis.

Read some accounts on that in my next post.

Conscious Ejaculation – PONR

March 24, 2010

Continuing with a closer look at the experiences you read here, I want to briefly review what happens when men ejaculate in a relaxed mode. In my first regular entry (here) I was illustrating the feelings a man can experience when he reaches and surrenders to the pont-of-no-return. This is a very descriptive, very conscious description of what happens within the sexual plumbings. It is possible to observe yourself when you stay relaxed and approach the PONR carefully. Since the ejaculatory reflex is triggered neurologically you will eventually fall into that reflex, no matter how completely you are relaxed or how much you try to stay relaxed. If you play at the brink of PONR you will experience emissions, even repeatedly. After all you will be there with a clear mind, – quite conscious!

The PONR is the moment when the ejaculatory reflex almost takes off (time delay 2-3 seconds on average). This can´t be willingly altered. Read scientific explanations on how this works:

The neurophysiology of ejaculation is not completely understood. Evidence thus far indicates that the sympathetic nervous system is much more involved in ejaculation. There are two phases of orgasm or ejaculation in the male. The first is the emission phase and that is when the seminal fluid leaves the prostate and there is the contraction of the prostate gland that pushes the seminal fluid, that’s come up from the seminal vesicle, and the prostatic fluid into the posterior urethra. That sensation is the sensation that the man feels when he recognizes that he is about to climax. And when he experiences that sensation he is going to climax and nothing he does physically or mentally is going to stop that.
[This passage refers to the emission (phase). But then in the last sentence (about inevitability) the word „climax“ is not correct, unless in the sense of „seminal release“ (i.e. emission). I am living proof here!]
Ejaculation proper follows the emission phase and is the result of afferent input from the distended posterior urethra filled with seminal fluid reaching the spinal cord and causing a reflex-mediated ejaculatory response. The sense of pleasure usually associated with ejaculation is usually assumed to be a cortical response.
- Vinny Liu and Jerry Lin in Behavioral Science: 4/25/99 -

More science-talk from another source:

Ejaculation may occur with or without an orgasm and/or erection. Both erection and ejaculation are spinal reflexes that are dependent on the removal of supraspinal (cerebral) inhibition for their triggering.

Ejaculation occurs in two phases: seminal emission and propulsatile ejaculation. Seminal emission is the process of sperm transport from the epididymis to the prostatic urethra, followed by closure of the bladder neck, and is under sympathetic control. Promoted by high sexual arousal, this phase has an element of voluntary control by the man. The engorgement of the prostate from vasocongestion of arousal emits pleasant afferent signals leading to preorgasmic sensations. The seminal vesicles and the prostate contribute the bulk of the seminal fluid, and the seminal bolus is delivered to the ejaculatory ducts. With concomitant and intermittent closure of the external sphincter and entrapment of the seminal bolus in the prostatic urethra, increased intraprostatic pressure results. Men recognize this is as a feeling of ‘no return’, or ejaculatory inevitability. This point, assumed previously to be the result of distention of the posterior urethra by the seminal bolus, must have additional afferent triggers, as radical prostatectomy patients can attest. In any case, the second phase of ejaculation, propulsatile ejaculation, is triggered. Propulsatile ejaculation consists of seminal vesicle, prostatic, urethral and pelvic floor muscle contractions that propel the seminal bolus out the end of the urethral meatus with considerable force. This is mediated by both parasympathetic and somatic input, and there is virtually no voluntary control of this phase.

Summary and simply put:

Friction supplied to your favourite areas of your penis stimulates the nerve endings of the smooth muscle lining the male reproductive tract. When stimulation reaches a pre-ordained threshold, it triggers ejaculation. (This threshold differs from man to man, a result of inheritance, culture, taboos, training, etc.)

Ejaculation is a nervous reflex controlled by the spinal cord. It occurs in two parts:

  1. Emission – in which semen moves through the ejaculatory ducts (running through the prostate gland) and into the central tube of the penis – the urethra.
  2. Ejaculation proper – in which semen is propelled out of the urethra by contractions of pelvic muscles.

Staying relaxed while heating up (1)

March 24, 2010

If you take a close look at my preceding entry you will notice certain issues well worth investigating! The girl quoted sure loves cum big time, she enjoys to make him shoot and she knows a good deal about his genitals. But she also mentions different kinds of ejaculations and multiple ones. And there is a definite hint at edging. Now what about a relaxed climax and a conscious ejaculation? Lets explore the first subject, being relaxed on the way to the peak.

To illustrate why it is so great to relax while on the way – or, more important, when close to the PONR – let me quote a couple of guys from a forum dealing with Mindful Masturbation:

… My original habit (a common one, I’ve found) was to gradually tense up as I became more aroused, so that by the time I was coming I was holding my breath and my body was completely rigid. Doing this more than once in a row, as with multiple orgasm, wears you out very quickly and isn’t much fun. [Wears you out, OK, but „not much fun“ – well, I wouldn´t say so!] Keeping relaxed and free as you become aroused means that you’ll actually breathe more and more deeply, and your body will flex and move more. When you come, the pleasure surges through you and you have more energy afterwards rather than less. Imagine the effect of a really good wake-up stretch, with at least one orgasm mixed in! …

[I need to add that in my experience you can keep quite calm (as described in the preceding story) and then cum rather sudden. What this guy depicts is a reaction towards orgasm. That´s what he says alright, but keep in mind that I am talking about ejaculation here, not orgasm.]

… Mindfulness comes into the equation as you learn to deliberately RELAX the pee-stopper [bulbocavernosus] muscle when you near ejaculatory climax. This sends a signal to your body/brain saying that you are going to pee, thus your system backs off from actually ejaculating. With intense arousal, the orgasmic threshold tips over anyway, at least neurologically & you enter a realm I call 7TH HEAVEN ON EARTH. As you keep the “pee-stopper” relaxed while continuing stimulation, the orgasmic state can become ongoing, continuous bliss “That Surpasseth Understanding.”

These statements explain how relaxing the body and especially the reproductive system may supply a higher level of intensity while nearing the exquisite sensations of the ejaculatory reflex. This is closely related to tantric teachings/methods and surely to edging. Oh, and just to make sure: being relaxed in a state of sexual arousal does not mean your cock needs to be flaccid. You can be relaxed with a cock throbbing!!
