Don’t Let ‘em Hide!

March 29, 2024

The Easter Celebrations feature one curious tradition: we hide eggs for the fun of somebody else searching and finding them…

Ten years ago (in 2014) I posted my first Easter Holiday greeting and kept doing so each year. Hence read this seasonal greeting-post about another aspect concerning any man’s precious gems: his ‘eggs’ aka testicles.

No, it doesn’t happen only once a year that male eggs hide away, it happens naturally (for a majority of men) every time they are about to meet PONR and cum. We may ascertain by observing this effect when masturbating. Yet it doesn’t make a lot of sense to “play hide and seek” when you are on your own. On top of that, everyone knows where your eggs hide!

The whole process of this hide-and-seek oddity is an evolutionary invention. Your scrotum does the job –not your eggs per se– and the reason for the retraction of the testicles closer to the body and possibly hiding them (subcutaneous) is to raise the testicular temperature, thus mobilizing sperm for pending ejaculation (into an assumed vagina) while it also offers protection against possible damage (to loose eggs ensuing from vigorous thrusting during intercourse).

Some men own a scrotum which kind of does the shapeshifting but their skin remains thin as opposed to a thickening of the scrotal skin (resulting in pretty good “stashing”). Here’s a sample of that thin skin condition:

But when we masturbate (or have ourselves masturbated) we don’t need that evolutionary function (thermoregulatory automatism and damage protection) no more! To the contrary, it would be great to have your eggs loosely exposed all the time.

Back to the Don’t let ‘em hide! bidding. It is said that keeping testicles from the natural up-draw when a man nears PONR will decisively postpone triggering his ejaculation. In addition, this manipulation will sharply intensify this very phase of pending climax and/or the ejaculating experience itself! I am not totally convinced of this effect (triggering the reflex is connected to a lot of different parameters, – if it was that simple…!), but pulling your eggs for increasing lustful sensations certainly is a very popular variety in masturbatory play.

Enter the ball ring! For establishing the basic effect while freeing your (and/or your partner’s) hand/s just place a ring around your scrotum’s root (often fondly including the penis’ base) to begin with. A simple toy that –in the lack of it– can even be substituted by a plain string.

It might have all started with a cock ring… the whole “ring”-thematic is quite complex, please read here. Cock rings are originally used for a different reason (restricting blood flow), but applying one or more rings (around the penis and the scrotum together) is a most common way to alter our masturbation experience.

Enhancing any male’s sexual fulfillment is great. Rings may be the best and simplest thing for integrating your testicles/eggs (increasingly) into your routines, because they are kept from hiding thus are easier to grasp. Enjoy your eggs and:

Happy Easter! 🙂

Excellent article as always, very thought provoking!

I always enjoy watching the movement of my testicles during masturbation, especially when I am at my most stimulated. I find that this “natural draw up” is a good way to tell visually when someone is about to ejaculate. When stretching my testicles away from my body during ejaculation, I can focus completely on the feeling of the semen as it pumps from deep within me.

As a somewhat related side note: another interesting aspect of male orgasm is the variety of vocalizations a man makes when he is at that moment just before he begins ejaculation. Some men can vocalize clearly that they are nearing orgasm, while others babble incoherently with pure pleasure. The male orgasm is truly a powerful thing!

Thank you, and nice aspects you add here! As for the sounds men make when cumming, I recommend my post about that. You are absolutely right. 🙂

I quite fondly remember learning about the scrotum tightening before orgasm, and once I realized it, it became my “telltale heart” or alert to, he’s about to…… but learning how to use that to an advantage and exploit it with various strategies and styles of cock rings has been eye-raising and eye-opening. There most definitely needs to be more publicity around this aspect of sexuality.

Absolutely. I’ve been using a stretchy larger ring to go around the penis and testicles while edging for some time. First, it adds a bit of pressure which feels good, and two, keeps my balls from pulling up, allowing easier play. I don’t really need it for restricting blood outflow, and not even sure it works that great for that purpose, but it’s definitely worth using for heightened sensations while edging for hours.
